The hoard of Anglo-Saxon coins found in a ninth century housein the Atrium Vestae (1883) will be observed displayed in glasscases, likewise the splendid find of golden Solidi, also from theAtrium Vestae, found by Comm. Boni (Nov. 17, 1899), which hadbeen hidden under a tile therein in 472, probably when Ricimersacked Rome. Note also a fine golden Fibula found by Mr. Blissin the Stadium on the Palatine (1896).
