The Echeverias are a class of plants with thick, fleshy leaves, introduced fromMexico ; they are of a rich and very peculiar appearance, of various colors and hues;like all succulent plants, they are well suited for rock work, and ornamental plantinggenerally ; they can be wintered in the house very easily, as they stand the dry atmos-phere well, and at the same time, are ornamental.
