PACIFIC OCEAN (May 16, 2017) Sailors assigned to deck department aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) and Marines assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct small boat operations off the coast of San Diego. America ARG is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to America, the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), and the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22).
