Benjamin Smith, an assistant assault amphibious vehicle section leader with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3/1, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), does crunches aboard the Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47).
