Egypt, Alexandria. On June 11, 1882, a xenophobic movement breaks out in the city and extends to other cities, causing the murder of 200 foreigners. The conflict arose from the entry of English and French ships into the port of Alexandria. The British squad opened fire on the city on July 11 and occupied it.
