Discovery in orbit during mission STS-133. Discovery's vertical stabilizer and orbital manoeuvring system (OMS) pods (down right) are backdropped by Earth's clouds. Discovery was part of NASA's Space Shuttle program. It flew 39 missions over a period of 26 years, being retired from service in March 2011. STS-133 was its final mission, taking place from 24 February to 9 March 2011. Photographed on 25 February 2011.
