London, UK. 7th Aug, 2023. A Common Darter Dragonfly pair is seen mating in wheel position near Dulwich Park. Recent hot and wet weather has led to an explosion of dragonflies across parts of the UK. Scientists say climate change has encouraged previously rare species of dragonflies to become a common sight in the UK as recent warm weather and severe drought in Europe has made the UK an escape zone for migrating dragonflies.
