La Torre, Valencia, October 30, 2024. Vehicles, mud and belongings fill the streets of La Torre after one of the worst floods since 1957. One of the worst floods in living memory has devastated L'Horta Sud, the region located just south of the city of Valencia, Spain. During the night of the 29th to the 30th, the Barranco del Poio, an intermittent watercourse that collects the rains produced higher up, overflowed.
