Place of worship at Chan See Shu Temple, Malaysia

One of KL's largest temple built nearly a century ago, this temple is located in the Petaling Street area which used to be the centre for the Chinese community during that time. This is yet another of Kuala Lumpur's historical places of worship. Built in 1906, Chan See Shu Yuan is one of the oldest surviving Buddhist temples in Malaysia. Its ancient Chinese architecture features a roof of Kwang-Tung pottery style. Another prominent feature of the temple is the display of terracotta friezes, which depict scenes from Chinese history and mythology. Devotees flock to the temple during Buddhist festivals
