The new brewery for Harp Lager at Manor Park was built by Laing with the design of the project being carried out by architects and engineers from the Group Technical Services, working with engineers from Arthur Guinness, Son and Company Limited. John Laing Construction Ltd began the building work in 1961 and the brewery was opened on 28th June 1963. The brewery was taken over by Bass in 1979, then later by Molson Coor
