In a home in Bhaktapur town that was all but destroyed by earthquake struck on 25th April 2015, deep fissures are apparent.

Baktapur town is one of the oldest preserved 'palace' towns in Nepal. During the May 25th earthquake almost every building was destroyed. Those like this one that have deep fissures will most likely have to be demolished.
