Drogarati Kefallonia Greece
The Caves at Drogorati took their name from a myth told by the locals that it was once the home of a dragon. The cave is 150 million years old. Polychrome stalactites hang from the roof like curtains in the large underground chamber. As water filters through, drops slowly solidify. The red coloured formations are from the iron content in the rock.
