Marine Col. Darry W. Grossnickle visits a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) on Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Atlantic, , Aug. 15, 2018. A FARP is a temporary station that rapidly refuels and arms aircraft allowing them to expedite the refueling process. Grossnickle is the commanding officer of Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
