The 2010 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on Thursday, November 25, 2010 in the New York City borough of Manhattan. The parade includes many marching bands, elaborate floats, performers, and celebrities to entertain the crowd. The stars of the show are the large helium filled balloons of popular characters which float along the parade route. The parade route starts on Central Park West near the American Museum of Natural History and winds its way down to Macy's flagship store in Herald Square on 34th Street and 7th Avenue.
