Deserted Scottish Croft

The Dava Moor is a fairly desolate area of land north of Grantown-on-spey in the Scottish Highlands. The land is very poor, but a number of families lived hard lives on crofts, managing to get some grassland and grow a few food crops. All of the crofts are now deserted. This is the old croft house at East Crannich - The Place of the Trees.
