Fore wing white suffused in parts with reddish brown, the inner area to the cell and vein 3 strongly suffused with reddish brown ; the costal edge black towards base; a brown terminal line; cilia with a brown line near tips. Hind wing white suffused with reddish brown except the cell and inner area to towards termen. Underside of fore wing brown. Hab. Costa Rica, Sixola R. (Schaus), type f c? in Nat. Mus. Fore wing of male with the inner margin rather strongly arched towards tornus and clothed with upturned hair on underside ; hind wing ample, the apex extending to well beyond tornus of fore fig, 129,—Agylla meteura, $, }. $ . Head and thorax ochreous white suffused with red-brown ; abdomen white, the anal tuft tinged with ochreous and the lateral tufts rufous. Fore wing ochreous white irrorated with red-brown scales, the inner area below submedian fold more suffused with red- brown ; an obscure oblique red-brown shade from costa beyond middle to vein 4 and the termen more thickly irrorated with red- brown. Hind wing creamy white. Underside creamy white, the fore wing tinged with ochreous. 5 . Abdomen tinged with brown; fore wing less strongly irro- rated with red-brown. Hab.
