HOUSES OF PANSA AND SALLUST. 325 figures, of which Mazois, from whom our engraving is copied,has giveu uo explanation. The female figure in the centreholds a cornucopia, and each of the male figures holds asmall vase in the hand nearer to the altar, and a horn inthe other. All the faces in his engraving are quite black,and the heads of the male figures are surrounded with some-thing resembling a glory.
