Southport Large White Globe Onion. SOUTHPORT LARGE RED GLOBE. This variety is very similar to the South- port Yellow Globe in shape and size, but ri- pens somewhat later, maturing a few days later than tho Red Wethcrsficld. It is a splendid keepor, and in quality 13 superior to most other red va- rieties. WHITE GLOBE— A large, firai, globe- shaped variety, with white skin; fine flesh; handsome in shape and a good Southport Large Red Globe Onion. Imported Varieties. The following varieties have been tested in this country, and have given perfect satisfaction. While we would not recommend the risk- ing of a large crop of Onions by sowing imported seed, we believe the following varieties will be found very desirable for early market and home garden use.
