210215-N-OW019-0020 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 15, 2021) An F/A-18E Super Hornet from the “Kestrels” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 137 conducts a simulated mid-air refueling with an E/A-18G Growler from the “Cougars” of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 139 during an air power demonstration over top of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is the flagship of Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and is deployed conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
