Calvin Dille was twice married, his firstunion being to Naomi Hendershot. who waslikewise a \irginian by birth; she was bornAugust 15, 1784, and died September 16, marriage was prolific of eight children,all of whom are now deceased, the subject ofthis review having been the fourth born. For his second wife Calvin Dille weddedSarah vS. David, thepaternal grandfather of Dr. Dille, was born m\irginia, in 1773, and in 1803 he removed withhis family of six children, of whom Calvin aiidhis twin brother Luther, were the third inorder of birth, to what is now Euclid township,from Belmont county, Ohio, that section be-ing known then, as now, as Dilles Dille removed to near Cleveland, Ohio,when that city was a mere village.
