It is very hardy and easily transplanted— few plants ever failing if properly treated specimens arc obtained. It grows rapidly; it soon forms a most beautiful hedge, very dense, and perfectly impervi- ous to the sight. It forms a most desirable and or- namental screen to divide the lawn from other parts of the grounds, or to cover unsightly objects. For hedges, by the hundred at greatly reduced rates.
