Treto Bridge, linking the towns of Adal and Treto (Bárcena de Cicero) with Colindres was time for an innovative and complex engineering work originally planned by Eduardo Miera and culminated the route of the Coastal Highway. It was opened in 1905 and the controversy surrounding its construction resulted in the loss of political hegemony of the Castro district of Laredo by the Liberal Party El puente de Treto, que une las localidades de Adal y Treto (Bárcena de Cicero) con Colindres, fue para su tiempo una innovadora y complicada obra de ingeniería proyectada originalmente por Eduardo Miera y que culminó el trazado de la Carretera de la Costa. Fue inaugurado en 1905 y la polémica que rodeo su construcción provocó la pérdida de la hegemonía política del distrito de Laredo- Castro por parte del Partido Liberal
