New York, UISA - 4 November 2011; no people in view. Two iconic pieces of New York grandiose architecture for the price of one. The Empire State Building and new One World Trade Centre, viewed from the top of the Rockefeller Building on a murky day in New York. As an air pollution scientist, I can tell you that the murk is not innocuous fog or mist, it looks full of nasty pollutants, organics and petrochemicals to Wonder how New Yorkers breathe?
