Doctor Locke wasgraduated from the Boston DentalCollege (now Tufts) in 1895, andimmediately commenced practice inher native city, fitting up a finely ap-pointed office in the family residenceat 11 Amherst Street, where sue hascontinued with great success, withonly such interruptions as have comefrom absence for the purpose of post-graduate study in her profession. Coming to America in 1894, withher sister, Marion, now Mrs. Harry of Indianapolis (both young-ladies being ambitious to avail them-selves of the superior educational ad-vantages and more promising field ofeffort presented in this country) shesoon found a position in the office ofthat eminent dental practitioner.
