The Commission later entered into contract with The HughesGranite and Marble Company for a bronze medallion for theMcKinley monument, and for four granite markers, at a cost ofseven hundred and fifty dollars ($750), thus making the cost ofthe ten monuments and four markers twenty-one thousand fivehundred dollars ($21,500). Monuments were erected strictly according to contract andto the entire satisfaction of the Commission, and dedicatory ser-vices were held on the battlefield October 13, Rl^T^, ^i.
