The latter is the result of the former two. The pub- lic has learned to love flowers and the public is still in the primary classes, be- cause there is much in which they are to be educated. Twenty-five years ago if you looked into a daily paper, the chances are that you would see no florist's advertisement. Five years ago few advertisements were running. Today, one sees florists' ad- vertisements daily. Whyt Beating Back the Overhead. The retailer understands and is com- ing more and more to understand that the only way he can control the over- head is to increase his volume of busi- ness.
