A pair of percussion pistols, Johann Christoph Kuchenreuter, Steinweg near Regensburg, circa 1860 Octagonal barrels with smooth bores in 13 mm calibre, dovetailed front sights and double folding rear sights. On barrel tops tendril-shaped silver inlays, each one signed "J. CHRISTOPH KUCHENREITER" and lined rider's mark (Stöckel no. 640). Adapted percussion locks with repeated signatures. Smooth walnut stocks and brass furnitures, butts with slots for detachable stocks. On the silver thumb plates engraved crests with crowns.
