PricewaterhouseCoopers (or PwC) is the world's largest professional services firm. It was formed in 1998 from a merger between Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. PwC is the largest of the Big Four accounting firms, the other three being Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ernst & Young and KPMG. PricewaterhouseCoopers earned aggregated worldwide revenues of $25 billion for fiscal 2007, and employed over 146,000 people in 150 countries The DaimlerChrysler district at Potsdamer Platz was one of Europes biggest private-sector urban construction projects and was planned a team of international architects under the leadership of Renzo Piano. Today, it is an inner-city district accommodating 10,000 jobs, and its varied facilities are used by between 70,000 and 100,000 people every day. The DaimlerChrysler district at Potsdamer Platz comprises 19 buildings, 10 streets and two plazas, and has a total floor space of 500,000 square meters. After the fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November 1989, ex-Pink Floyd member Roger Watersstaged a gigantic charity concert of his former band's rock extravaganza The Wall on 21 July 1990 to commemorate the end of the division betweenEast and West Germany. The concert took place on the then-emptyPotsdamer Platz and featured many guest superstars. After 1990, the square became the focus of attention again, as a large, attractive location which had suddenly become available in the centre of a major European city.
