Commander Richardson, crack Navy flyer, at the controls of a 1915 model Curtiss seaplane which he took on its maiden flight today on the Potomac at Washington. The old plane was discovered in storage at the Washington Navy Yard where it has been for over 12 years. Commander Richardson is testing the old boat to compare its behavior to that of craft of modern construction
