NAVAL SUPPORT FACILITY DEVESELU, Romania (Jan. 19, 2023) - Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday reenlists Sailors assigned to Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System Romania (AAMDS), during a visit to Naval Support Facility Deveselu, Romania, Jan. 19. AAMDS is under the operational control of the Naval Forces Europe, based in Naples, Italy, and is part of the European Phased Adapted Approach (EPAA), which protects European NATO allies and deployed forces in the region.
