The constellations Arctoe and Draco: a seventeenth century hand-coloured engraving based on the illumination in the ninth century Aratus in Leiden. Aratus was born about 315 BC in Soli, and wrote his famous work on stellar mythology, Phaenomena, for the ruler of Macedonia, Gonatas.
