The seed should be sown very early in the spring, as early as possible after the danger of frost is over. A good plan Is to burn a quantitv of brush and rublMsh in the spring, on the ground Intended for the seed bed; then dig and thor- oughly pulverize the earth and mix with ashes, after which the seed may be sown and covered very ligl)tly.
