This vast edifice presents nothing very striking in its exterior, which is in agreat measure hid by the surrounding streets. But when the stranger enters any one of itsnineteen gates, he is astonished and bewildered by the endless labyrinth of columns whichstretch before him in every direction (Jig. 324.).
