Beckhampton Stables, Near Marlborough, Wiltshire, UK. 26th May 2020. Mist and hazy sunlight greet the early morning training session for jockeys and race horses at Beckhampton Stables near Marlborough, Wilshire. Trainer Roger Charlton has been based at Beckhampton since 1978 where he was assistant to Jeremy Tree for 12 years. During those years Rainbow Quest, Danehill, Sharpo and Known Fact were in the yard. In his first year in charge in 1990 he won the French and English Derby with Sanglamore and Quest for Fame. Since then Tamarisk, Patavellian, Tante Rose, Avonbridge, Cityscape, Thistle Bird, Al Kazeem, Quest for More and Decorated Knight have kept him at the top of the game.
