1934-1936. An industrial area close to the Zillierbach Dam, possibly Wernigerode, including a sign for a former costume manufacturer. A feat of German engineering, the Zillierbach Dam is in East Hartz in Saxony-Anholt, Germany. The dam was built between 1934 and 1936 on the Zillierbach Stream. It has been modernised since this time, but these photos chart aspects of the original construction. Original images were little more than snapshots.
