Navy blimp hanger after being destroyed by fire


An image showing a bruned-out WWII Navy blimp hanger at the now closed Marine Corps Air Station Tustin, CA. This blimp hanger was one of the largest wood structures in the world. During WWII, the Navy flew blimps out of there for anti-submarine patrol along the coast of Sourthern California.
