Sablefish are more abundant in the eastern Bering Sea than in the Aleutians. A third species group taken mainly on the outer continental shelf and slope of the eastern Bering Sea is Greenland turbot and arrov^rtooth flounder. As adults, these large flounders mainly occupy conti- nental slope waters, whereas juveniles are generally found on the shelf. Major concentrations of adults.
