Kukerov den ( Kukerlandia ) This old ritual is performed ever year around Towns, Cities and Villages all over Bulgaria, colorful costumes and dance the ritual performed in February to chase away the evil spirits and ensure a good harvest. Ritual includes Kukerski igri (kukeri games) and processions its worth watching the merry parade of men dressed up in animal costumes with sheep bells ,and wearing masks with multicolored threads and mirrors. Also known as Kukerlandia and mummers day
