Optical image of the bright star Fomalhaut (Alpha Piscis Austrini) in the constellation Piscis Austrinus, the southern fish. Piscis Austrinus lies south of Aquarius. In legend the Southern Fish was one of the parents of Pisces, the familiar fish of the zodiac. Upper right is the Helix Nebula (NGC 7293), the largest planetary nebula in the sky.
