An old Greek house in Sinasos ("Mustafapasa"), that now functions as guest house and restaurant. Cappadocia, Turkey

This is one of the many old Greek houses in Mustafapasa. Mustafapasa is the "new" name of the town, most of the visitors, but also most of the locals, still call it with its old Greek name "Sinasos" (in greek "Σινασός"). This particular old Greek mansion was one of the most impressive I saw in Sinasos, with a beautiful interior yard, reminding the patios of Andalucia. Today, functions as a guesthouse and restaurant, under the name "The Old Greek House". Sinasos was also called "The Athens of Cappadocia", because before the exchange of populations between Greece and Turkey in 1924, it was considered the cultural "capital" of the Greeks of Cappadocia.
