The 343rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron launched its initial sortie for Ample Strike 18 from RAF Fairford, United Kingdom, Sept. 7, 2018. The annual Czech- Republic-led exercise is designed to help train with Joint Terminal Air Controllers on the ground there. Airman of the 343rd are comprised of both Citizen Reserve Airmen and active-duty personnel working within the total force enterprise model.
