Bothpleural cavities contained muddy colored fluid, especiallythe right, and both layers of pleura contained similar tumormasses up to an inch in diameter. The lower lobe of thelett lung showed hypostatic pneumonia. The right kidneywas in a condition of pyonephritis due to obstruction of theureter by a tumor mass at the hilum.
