Hines, New Director General ofRailroads, Expects to Follow Mr. McAdoosPolicies with Help of All Employes HE first official act of Walker , who on January 11 wasnamed Director General of Rail-roads by President Wilson tosucceed William G. IVIcAdoo, was toissue a statement announcing that hewould follow in the footsteps of his pre-decessor and that he wanted his fellowworkers in the hard war work to joinwith him in giving the public in this timeof peace valiant and faithful service.
