Tithecote Manor is a private house with its own circular medieval Dovecote, set in large grounds of the former monastery. Both the house and Dovecote were built by the Benedictine monks in 1350 at Hurley village, a historical and medieval village on the river Thames in Berkshire, Britain. Tithcote Manor was used by the monks as a second barn for storage for grain and other farming produce. The Dovecote was a home for doves and the building itself was a status symbol as only the Lord of the Manor was allowed to have one
