The inauguration of the multi-purpose complex was lead by Inglesia Ni Cristo Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo and President Benigno Aquino III. The Philippine Arena, touted as the world's largest domed arena with a 55,000 seating capacity whose construction cost over $200 million is built to withstand strong earthquakes and super typhoon winds.
