The Mingo Church furnished the first foreign Missionarysent out by Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In the fallof 1908 Sister Katherine Ziegler, daughter of Daniel Mary Ziegler, left her mother (father having died thesame summer) for the India Mission-field as the representa-tive of the Sunday Schools of the District. Jesse CHAPTER CHURCH. It is likely that for a number of years some memberswere living in this part of the Indian Creek territory, andthat services were held once in a while in homes and schoolhouses. As a young man, Abraham H. Cassel taught schoolin this neighborhood, and it was here that he got his wife,a Miss Rhodes. Among the earliest members here wasCaleb Price, who taught school at the Eight-Square SchoolHouse where the Brethren had preaching. He attendedservices at Upper Dublin later, was elected to the ministrythere, and later moved to Ohio. His sister Mary was alsoa member early, married Abraham Price of Indian the earliest members, besides Bro. Caleb Price, andhis sister, Mary, were: Old George Fisher and wife, John Kile and wife, JacobReiner and wife, Peter Custer and wife, Abel Ballew andwife, and a few other sisters. The Eigh
