There is a great supply of outdoor stock, which is used for window displays. Cornflowers are selling well, as well as delphiniums. The supply of greens has been large, and the fancy ferns, asparagus and smilax clean up almost ^3'^y- Various Notes. The St. Louis Flower Growers' Pub- licity Association's executive board Avill hold an important meeting June 6, in publicity headquarters, at 2:30 p. m. As the big flower days for this season are at an end, the board will at this meeting take up the advisability of summer advertising. The board con- sists of L. Jules Bourdc't, chairman; J. F. Ammann, Louis A. Hocrr, W. J. Pilcher, Joseph Deutschmann, A. S. Cerny, F. A. Windier, H. G. Berning, W. A. Kowc, treasurer; J. J. Beneke, secretary, and W. A. Ferrcc, advertis- ing manager. All are requested to at- tend this meeting. The big meeting of the St. Louis Florists' Club will take place Thursday, June 8, at 2 p. m., at W. J. Pilcher''8 place, in Kirkwood, Mo., wlien the mem- bers will celebrate the club's thirty- sixth anniversary. Luther Armstrong, the only living charter member and the club's first secretary, promises to be present for a talk on the early history of the club.
