The city teemed with visitors, the decorations were fine, the weather glo- rious and floats and parades up to the average or better. With the ending up at Fort McHenry with a bombard- ment and fireworks, it was all that it should be. Francis Scott Key will live long in our memory: also his famous song, which we have heard so much of late. I. H. Moss has received a new boiler to install in his greenhouse on York road. The make is "Gem City Re- turn," tubular portable. A number of the same make have been used in this locality and have given perfect satis- faction in their heating quality. W. McKissik, manager of the Leo Niessen Co.'s Baltimore branch, has returned from his vacation in New Jersey. He and Mrs. McKissik are en- joying a new Ford runabout this fine weather. Richard Vincent, has been laid up with lumbago since his trip to Bos- ton convention, but is now up and around again. Wm. Johnston and wife, of Madison street, are at home from their summer home in New York state. John Cook and wife, Catonsville, will spend the winter in Miami. as usual. B. Cleveland. IMPROVEMENT IN TRADE CONTINUES. Business has been improving grad- ually for the past week or two. and again shows old-time form.
