Courtyard of the 15th Century Almshouse of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist in Sherborne, Dorset, UK. One of the few examples of a 15th Century Almshouse in England which still fulfills its original role. Founded by the Royal Licence of King Henry VI in 1437. The original building was built between 1440 and 1444.
