Histraining and experience were recog-nized in his appointment as Cashierunder Sheriff Thomas Finn in1912. Appointed Chief Cashier to theTax Collector January 8, 1914, hehas materially assisted in the collec-tion of millions in tunnel assessments,and the enforcement of the licenseordinances. Mr. Rapheld was married Septem-ber 9, 1900, and nas a son and daugh-ter.
